Ruth Borger provides overall administrative leadership for the unit. Ruth works closely with The College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR), MSU Extension and The Michigan Agricultural Experiment Station administration to develop, plan and deliver marketing communication support solutions. She also consults with other CANR units on marketing and communication planning, and communicates and coordinates unit activities with University Relations to support an aggressive positioning of the Michigan State University brand.

Francie Todd is the communications manager for the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. She serves as communications consultant to the dean and executive staff of the college and the ANR Office of External Relations, including the ANR Alumni Association (ANRAA) and development administrators. Michelle Lavra is the communications manager for MSU Extension's Children, Youth, Families & Communities programs, including 4-H Youth Development and MSUE's programs related to nutrition, healthcare, childcare, personal/family financial management and human development. Natalie Ebig Scott is the communications manager for Project GREEEN (Generating Research and Extension to meet Environmental and Economic Needs). Project GREEEN is a cooperative effort between plant-based commodities and businesses together with the Michigan Agricultural Experiment Station, Michigan State University Extension and the Michigan Department of Agriculture to advance Michigan's economy through its plant-based agriculture. Natalie's role includes writing about the impacts of Project GREEEN-funded research projects, producing Project GREEEN publications, including annual reports, newsletters and legislative reports, and coordinating legislative tours.
