Katelyn Thompson Receives MSU Dairy Memorial Scholarship

EAST LANSING, Mich.—Charlotte resident Katelyn Thompson has been awarded a $3,500 Dairy Memorial Scholarship by the Michigan Dairy Memorial and Scholarship Foundation, Inc.
  Katelyn is one of 15 Michigan   State University students to receive these scholarships. Awards are based on academics,  extracurricular activities and interest in dairy industry careers. In all, 30 students received more than $85,000 in dairy scholarships for the 2008-09 academic year.    
  The Michigan Dairy Memorial and Scholarship Foundation, Inc. oversees the largest scholarship program in the MSU College of Agriculture and Natural Resources.  It is the university‚Äôs second largest scholarship program; only the athletic scholarship program is larger.
