Nathan Southwell Receives MSU Dairy Scholarship

EAST LANSING, Mich.—St. Johns resident Nathan Southwell has been awarded a $2,000 Agricultural Technology Scholarship by the Michigan Dairy Memorial and Scholarship Foundation, Inc.
  Nathan is one of six Michigan   State University agricultural technology students to receive these scholarships. Awards are based on academics, extracurricular activities and interest in dairy industry careers. This is the seventh year that these awards have been made specifically for agricultural technology students. These six are among 30 students who received more than $85,000 in dairy scholarships for the 2008-09 academic year.  
  The Michigan Dairy Memorial and Scholarship Foundation, Inc. oversees the largest scholarship program in the MSU College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. It is the university‚Äôs second largest scholarship program; only the athletic scholarship program is larger.
