There’s much to see for animal lovers at ANR Week

EAST LANSING, Mich. – From “buzz” to “nay,” you won’t have to look far to find some animal-related workshops at this year’s Agriculture and Natural Resources (ANR) Week.
ANR Week, scheduled March 3–10, is an annual event that hosts a wide variety of meetings, workshops and conferences in areas such as agriculture, horticulture and natural resources on the Michigan State University (MSU) campus.
The following animal-related workshops take place during ANR Week:
Michigan State Rabbit Breeders Association Inc. Convention and Show will take place March 2–4 at the MSU Pavilion for Agriculture and Livestock Education (MSU Pavilion). On March 2, “Rabbit School” will take place from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Other days’ activities include a rabbit show and awards banquet. Spring Goat Day, an educational program for producers of all types of goats including meat, fiber and pygmy goats as well as all dairy goats, will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., March 10, in Anthony Hall. Michigan Horse Council’s Horse Expo takes place March 9–11 at the MSU Pavilion. It will host events such as the Michigan High School Rodeo and the Grace Adventure Family Fest. Advance admittance is $10 for people aged 15 and up and $5 for children aged 6 to 14. Admittance at the door is $12 for people aged 15 and up and $6 for children aged 6 to 14. Hear the buzz about the Michigan
Beekeepers Association Conference, taking place March 9-10 in the Kellogg
Center. This “must attend” workshop for all Michigan beekeepers will cover how
