EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Youth of all ages and families will attend the three-hour “4-H Science Blast” open house to experience hands-on activities that are part of Michigan State University Extension (MSUE) 4-H youth development’s science, engineering and technology (SET) programming. Activities will include creating biofuel from sugar and other common substances and measuring its effectiveness; using wind and kinetic energy to create “green” electricity; steering a robot through a 20- by 30-foot obstacle course; building model rockets and other SET-related programs.
See related press release at http://anrcom.msu.edu/press/100109/102009_4hscience.htm for more information.
